AERO is working with Oregon State University to host two events on developing farmer networks in Montana. Held in Missoula at the University of Montana FLAT on March 5^th, the first half of the day will be a training for agricultural educators (extension professionals, university educators, non-profit leaders, and other farmers) on why and how to support farmer networks in their service areas. In the afternoon there will be an initial women’s farmer network meeting, designed to provide support to women farmers interested in collaborating on a women farmer network in their areas.
